How can I transfer or reactivate a student when adding them?

In this article, we’ll cover what to do if you see an error message about transferring or reactivating a student while trying to add them to your account.

When attempting to add a student, you may see one of the following messages:

  • A user with the email address is already registered on this site (Transfer Student).
  • A student with the email address existed and was deleted (Reactivate Student).

Students can be reactivated or transferred as long as you have available student seats on your subscription. If your plan is full, remove a student to free up a seat, or upgrade your subscription to add more seats. Once a student accepts a transfer or reactivation request they appear in your account, along with all their past work history and data.

This article is composed of two sections:

  1. Transferring or reactivating students as a teacher
  2. Transferring or reactivating students as a manager
