Teacher Panel

A bird’s-eye view of assignments and student progress. The To Do tab highlights submitted work waiting for review, and other tabs track student progress toward completing assignments.

Available to all Teachers on paid and free subscriptions.

If you're managing large numbers of students and classes, the Teacher Panel offers a more efficient way to identify which assignments need attention first and complete more grading in less time. From the Teacher Panel, you can also edit or delete homework, tests, and assessments.

Accessing the Teacher Panel

  1. Hover over 'teacher' in the top left corner
  2. Select Teacher Panel


Teacher Panel Tabs
  

  1. To Do: displays all assignments that have been submitted and not yet reviewed, as opposed to assignments that are in progress.
  2. Homework: lists only homework assignments that have been assigned, not started, or started, not submitted.
  3. Placement Tests: lists the progress of all placement tests.
  4. Unit Checks: lists the progress of all unit checks.
  5. Class filters in orange: allow you to view students by class.

Below the filters, you’ll see a list of student assignments.



Features Common to All Tabs

  1. Orange class filter buttons: Assignments can be sorted by class in every tab and are listed in reverse chronological order, with the most recent submissions at the top.
  2. Date submitted: Click here to be taken directly to the student's submitted assignment, side-by-side with the answer key.
  3. Student name: Click to go directly to the student profile page.


The Teacher Panel - Homework Tab

Select assignments to perform bulk actions - Click the checkbox to the left of an assignment to see the actions available for its current status.

  • A homework assignment that is assigned but not started can be removed or have the due date changed;
  • A homework assignment that has been started, not submitted can be removed or have the due date changed;
  • A homework assignment that has been submitted but not yet reviewed, can be marked as reviewed, reassigned or removed.

Click on assignments of different status' to see which actions are available.



The Teacher Panel - Placement Tests Tab

  • Classes: Filter by class or view all classes.
  • Status: View status and click on 'Not reviewed' to review test results.
  • Student: Click student name to go to student profile page.
  • Class: View name of class student is assigned to.
  • Proficiency level: View Grammar level of the test results.
Perform bulk actions by clicking the checkboxes - 
  • If a test has been assigned, not started, you can remove the assignment.
  • If a test has been completed and submitted, you can mark it as reviewed, reassign it or remove it.
  • If a test has been started, not submitted, there is no bulk action available.
    • To delete or remove a test that has been 'started, not submitted', log in as your student and submit the test for them, then return here and remove it.

Clicking the blue, Not reviewed script, opens the placement test results.
Clicking the student name, opens the student's page.



The Teacher Panel - Unit Checks Tab

  • Classes: Filter by class or view all classes.
  • Status: View status and click on 'Not reviewed' to review unit check results.
  • Student: Click student name to go to student profile page.
  • Class: View name of class student is assigned to.
  • Unit Check: View name and level of unit check.
  • Score: View unit check scores.

Perform bulk actions by clicking the checkboxes - 

  • If the unit check has been assigned, not started, you can remove the assignment.
  • If a unit check has been started, not submitted, you can remove the assignment.
  • If the unit check has been submitted, you can mark it as reviewed, reassign it or remove it.

Clicking the blue, Not reviewed script, opens the unit check results.
Clicking the student name, opens the student's page.
