Who this is for: teachers
Available to: teachers and managers on all subscriptions. Free subscriptions include a limited number of lessons.
If you teach ELD in elementary school, or young children in private lessons, these lessons work well with younger learners:
- Foundational Literacy: for learners who are still learning to read in English. Lessons cover sounding out words, sight words and reading short texts.
- Step-by-Step Curriculum Newcomers: for absolute beginners (CEFR A0).
- Speaking lessons, Reading lessons, Vocabulary lessons and Travel English lessons
Teachers use Off2Class with learners as young as 8 or 9 years old by selecting age-appropriate content and activities.
Finding lessons for younger learners
Use the downloadable younger learner lesson spreadsheet to locate lessons in the Lesson Library.
Download a spreadsheet list of young-learner-friendly lessons.
- Lesson ID: The lesson number, in our Lesson Library.
- Lesson Title: Title of the lesson.
- Module Title: Module title, including reading, listening, speaking etc.
- CEFR Level: CEFR level, ranging from A0 to B2.
- WIDA Level: WIDA level, ranging from pre-entering to expanding +.
Use the filters to search by:
- topic
- lesson type
- CEFR level
- WIDA level
The spreadsheet itself is downloadable, but Off2Class lessons are not downloadable. Use the spreadsheet to locate lessons in the Lesson Library, then open or assign them in Off2Class.
