What's included in a free account, and is there a free trial?
Off2Class is available on both free and paid accounts. This article explains what the free account includes, whether you'll be charged, which lessons you can access, and how to get support.
The free account is designed for Independent and International teachers. It includes access to approximately 200 lessons and lets you add up to 20 students, so you can start teaching right away at no cost. Each teacher is limited to one free account, and group teaching — enrolling more than one student in a single lesson — isn't available at the free level. Schools and districts aren't covered by the free account; if that's you, contact us about pilots and trials.
You can view the complete list of free lessons here. Any lesson marked with a + is reserved for paid plans; if you'd like to unlock the full library, you can upgrade to a paid plan at any time. Assessments are also limited on the free account: placement testing includes the grammar test only, and unit checks aren't available.
The free account is genuinely free — you won't be charged anything unless you choose to upgrade to a paid account. Because no payment information is collected when you sign up, there's nothing you need to do to avoid a charge. Your account simply stays free until you decide to upgrade.
Locating your free lessons
You can locate the roughly 200 lessons available on your Free subscription in the Lesson Library:
- The free subscription typically includes the first few lessons in every category.
- Lessons marked with a + are available exclusively with a paid subscription.

Free accounts include limited support. The best place to get help is our Off2Class Facebook Group, an active community where teachers connect, ask questions, and share their experience.
