Building a personalized learning plan for your students is a powerful tool. It helps you pinpoint areas where they need extra help and focus on their individual growth. The Learning Plan is a system for you to manually keep track of how far along each student is in their learning path, providing you with a list of lessons each student should focus on.
Start in the Student Management Panel and click on the student's name
This opens your student's page where all their work, history, and assignments are saved.
Click the 'Learning Plan' tab
On this next page are 2 choices
- Customize learning plan
- Generate learning plan
We suggest you generate a learning plan. This uses your student's placement test results to auto-generate a learning plan based on their errors. Lessons suggested will target the student's weak areas to help them improve quickly.
After generating the learning plan, you can customize it further.
Click 'Customize Learning Plan'
Individualize the learning plan further
- Add lessons from the drop-down search menu
- Re-order lessons by dragging and dropping
- Preview lessons by clicking the + sign
- Remove lessons by clicking the - sign
Use this Learning Plan tab to manually keep track of the lessons taught (1) and to launch lessons, using the rocket icon (2)
Note: The steps are to enroll the student, teach the lesson, and assign the homework; then return here to check the boxes of completed lessons, helping you keep track of each student's progress.
