How are students assessed?

Effective assessment is a vital part of teaching and learning. In this article, we introduce the types of assessment that supplement Off2Class lessons.

There are two regular forms of assessment as students work their way through the lessons in the Off2Class Lesson Library: homework and unit checks. Homework can be assigned to students at the end of each lesson and assesses knowledge and skills introduced in the lesson, including grammar, vocabulary, reading, listening, writing and speaking. Unit checks are available after each unit in the Step-by-Step Curriculum. They assess the grammar and vocabulary taught in the preceding unit.
