How can I handle error messages when adding managers?

In this article, we'll cover how to handle error messages when adding managers.

There are two error messages that might occur when attempting to add a manager. We'll cover each of them below and how to solve them.

  • A user with the email address *email* is already registered on this site.
  • You already have *email* registered within your enterprise.

 If the email exists on another account, this message will appear.

In this case, contact us, and we'll be happy to help.

If the email already exists on your account, this message will appear.

  • If you’re attempting to help another manager regain access (i.e. change a password), you can edit the manager's account. 
  • If you’re attempting to give a teacher manager access, contact us, and we'll be happy to help.
  • If a student profile was accidentally created, you can permanently delete the student and then try adding them as a manager again. 
    • Permanently deleting a student is irreversible, and all student data will be lost.
